when i’m on twitch it happens rarely but every time i try to type something in chat i see Sorry, we were unable to connect to chat. Reconnecting in 2 seconds. then i see chat then when i type something it appears again and my message doesn’t show up on other chats (this started to happen after amazon bought twitch) please help me.
If you get disconnected every time you chat, you are locked out of chat (most likely for spamming the server with too many messages in a short period of time). Lockouts last for 8 hours.
Possible cause of lockout could be re-used/shared IPs…?
