But as a side comment on Alca’s post, wouldn’t messages that are apart of channel point redemptions (or anything that goes through twitch chat) already go through the channel’s automod if they have it enabled?

Alca is testing against a different likely more stringent rule set hence the second channel with a different automod set of settings/rules.
