# RTSP to twitch api?

what’s the api call to get rtsp feed working on stream?

does one need to first encode to rtmp for twitch api?

To stream on Twitch you need to send a RTMP feed to one of the Twitch Ingests.

Recommended ingests: [https://stream.twitch.tv/ingests/](https://stream.twitch.tv/ingests/)  
Some basic encoding/quality info: [https://stream.twitch.tv/](https://stream.twitch.tv/)

Thanks for that info.

I am getting rtsp only from my embedded device. Is there best practise online server/docker setup to go from RTSP To RTMP so Twitch Ingests can get the feed?

Is there a more modern Twitch Ingests like webrtc?
