# Retrieving comments from a completed live stream?

I understand that I can retrieve the video of a completed live stream. But how do I go about getting the entire chat history as it occurred during the live stream?

There are no official end points that support historical chat fetching

Are there any workarounds? Would I have to create a chat bot?
