Is extensions overlay only visible at LIVE stream? When stream is OFFLINE overlay is invisible?

By default, a video-overlay extension functions at all sizes while the broadcaster is live. Overlays are not visible on an offline player, as far as I can tell.

So I should stream for developing?

Yes: [image] Test running overlay extensions Extensions Thanks Patrick. That works +1 (… but as ocgineer said, it’s still weird that we need to go live to test)

If you are not doing anything that needs the context callback javascript function. You can just force your HTML to be 1280x1024 (or whatever) and build in there. I did some testing for the auth callback in a panel before testing it live on a video.
