How do I get all Followers, & Who's a viewer, who's just idle in chat?

So I have 2 questions.

  1. How do I get all of a channel’s followers? Last time I checked the API only returned the last 1,700(maybe it was 17,000). Is there a way to get the entire list or look up an individuals follow date? I suspect you’re going to tell me to iterate through the individuals followed channels for the channel I’m looking for to determine if they are a follower or not.

  2. So you have a viewer count. This is how many people are watching your stream. Then you have a chat count. This is how many users are logged into your chat. Is there a method for telling who’s an actual viewer and who’s only in chat?
