Just got my extension pushed back from review with: Your Extension contains obfuscated code (using webpack), this is not allowed. Which is puzzling, because extensions are available using webpack and contain “obfuscated code” example. The development platform doesn’t seem level or open if some developers get special treatment or policies are unclear.
