It is not possible through the API to determine who gifted a sub.

2/14/2020 - Added gifter_id and gifter_name fields to the Get Broadcaster Subscriptions endpoint and webhook.

This was added in February, but only for active gifts on the channel.

It’s a little unclear what you are after. The API can only return active subscriptions
