# Get linked steam account of user

Is there a way to get a users steam account name if they have it linked to twitch?

Yes: [https://api.twitch.tv/api/channels/insertusernamehere](https://api.twitch.tv/api/channels/insertusernamehere)  
You can also go the other way (get Twitch username from steamid if linked): [https://api.twitch.tv/api/steam/insertsteamidhere](https://api.twitch.tv/api/steam/insertsteamidhere)

Thanks this is what I needed. Can you also get their Persona name from this or do you need to  
make a separate steam api call?
