Get emotes per channel?

How can I currently get the emotes that you would get by subscribing to a channel? (given either a user name or ID)

Alas there is only get emotes by emote set ID

And there is no API to get what emoteset belongs to which channel.

Hopefully Twitch will add something useful for this…
