# Embed Chat - Redirect if not connected

Hello,

I’ve searched around, but I can’t find anything, so here I am 🙂

I’m developping a website that uses Twitch API for login.  
A stream channel is shown, with the embed chat by its side and accessible for everyone, even not connected through Twitch.  
What I’m looking for is a way to redirect the user to my sign-in page if the user tries to send a message on the chat, instead of showing the Twitch popup.

Any idea ? The Github page about embed chat is not really instructive [(see it by yourself)](https://github.com/justintv/Twitch-API/blob/master/embed-chat.md)

EDIT : I just saw that IRC is maybe the way

There isn’t a supported way to redirect to a custom login page from the chat embed.
