# Checking whether a channel is hosting

Is there a way to check if a channel is hosting another channel using the API _besides_ this: [http://api.twitch.tv/api/users/USERNAME/followed/hosting](http://api.twitch.tv/api/users/USERNAME/followed/hosting) (which will give you a list of every channel in the given user’s following list that is hosting another channel)?

Thanks for any help, I can work with little to no documentation as I can see there is nothing about this in the official API documentation.

You can use [http://tmi.twitch.tv/hosts?include\_logins=1&host=CHANNEL\_ID](http://tmi.twitch.tv/hosts?include_logins=1&host=CHANNEL_ID). Where channel ID is the ID from this page; [http://api.twitch.tv/api/channels/silentsentry](http://api.twitch.tv/api/channels/silentsentry). So it would be [http://tmi.twitch.tv/hosts?include\_logins=1&host=56625428](http://tmi.twitch.tv/hosts?include_logins=1&host=56625428) to see who SilentSentry is hosting.
