Auth API doesn't recognize a scope string with replaced ":" with "%3A"

you are encoding the URL where you shouldn’t be/where other encoding already processed

Try

URLSearchParams does not return the same string as found in a URL's parameters

Or don’t use URLSearchParam

With scopes you need to literally send + and : not their encoded forms.

Multiple Scopes

I am trying to use multiple scopes for oAuth. https://id.twitch.tv/oauth2/authorize?client_id=&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A4200%2Fcallback&response_type=code&scope=user%3Aread%3Aemail%2Buser_subscriptions and the error is {“status”:400,“message”:“invalid scope requested: ‘user:edit+user:read:email’”}

Scopes + (plus sign) doesn't work when url encoded

When I pass the URL encoded + sign (%2B), it fails to find the right scope. I am unable to pass the + literally right now, but it seems reasonable it would work when its URL encoded. I tried a space to see if that might work, and that doesn’t either. scope=user_follows_edit%2Buser_read Fails scope=user_follows_edit+user_read Works
