All tokens expire, app access lasts around 60 days

And if so is the renewal process pretty much the same, in terms or having to visit the page for the new details or can I just create a script and setup a cron to execute it every x days set by the expiration time provided in the response?

App access cannot be renewed, you jsut make a new one.
